Alfred Flechtheim was a leading art dealer in Berlin during the early 20th Century. He also worked as a publisher and a patron of modern art, and was the founder and publisher of the art magazine "Der Querschnitt". Flechtheim was forced to emigrate in 1933, and died in exile in London.

From 1923 to 1933, Flechtheim lived at Bleibtreustraße 15, Berlin Charlottenburg.
