From the estate of the photographer Waldemar Titzenthaler (1869-1937) with his handwritten note:
"These two framed daguerreotypes must be kept very safely. They are valuable collector´s items from the early days of photography, their number is decreasing year by year, already now they are very sought after especially in the original frame from the period"
